One of the biggest differences between Invisalign and traditional braces is that Invisalign’s aligners are completely removable. That means that you can keep eating all your favorite foods. You just take your aligner out to eat, and you can eat whatever you want.
With traditional braces, you have many diet restrictions that can make it hard to eat healthy foods you enjoy. Giving up some foods like popcorn and chewing gum are bad enough, but when you look at some of the other foods you have to give up, it’s a real hardship. Orthodontists often ask you to give up bagels and pizza. Give up pizza and bagels? C’mon, you might as well ask a New Yorker to give up air and water.
